☀️ Ethiopia Sidama:
Sky Roasted Ethiopia Sidama is a luminous and fruit-forward coffee from the highlands of Sidama. Grown organically by smallholders at elevations between 1,900–2,000 meters, this Grade 1 natural-process lot is meticulously sorted and sun-dried under the guidance of veteran coffee producer Worku Buche, at the Kadela Washing Station, nestled near the Aroresa River in eastern Sidama of Ethiopia.

Aromatic and vibrant, the cup bursts with notes of lychee, pomegranate, hibiscus, brown spice, chocolate, and cane sugar. Its light body and medium acidity are supported by a floral, wine-like complexity that lingers gracefully—making it a remarkable expression of Sidama’s terroir.

🌍 Origin & Heritage
Sidama, once part of the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and People’s Region (SNNPR), now stands as its own vibrant state. A hub for specialty Arabica production, its high-altitude microclimates and fertile soil nurture slow-ripening coffee cherries that develop into some of the most complex and aromatic coffees in the world. Sidama is home to over 50 cooperatives and 200 washing stations, each carrying the imprint of generations of tradition.

The Kadela wet mill, named after the river that winds through Aroresa, is part of Worku Buche’s larger network of processing facilities that serve over 250 hectares of smallholder farmland across Sidama. His dedication to quality and innovation has helped bring naturally processed Ethiopian coffee to over 75 countries, building bridges between growers and global markets.

🛠️ Processing Details
This coffee bean follows the natural process, Ethiopia’s oldest and most iconic method. Only the ripest cherries are selected, then sun-dried whole on raised beds. As the fruit slowly dries around the seed, sugars and acids concentrate, producing a sweet, layered profile with tropical flair and juicy red fruit tones.
